Ruth Herold has served as the Executive Director of Elizabeth Gregory Home since April 2012. She has an MA in Organizational Systems with an emphasis on Leadership & Organizational Development from Saybrook University and a BS from Pennsylvania State University in Recreation & Parks.
Christine Carr has served as the EGH Program Manager since June 2017. She feels most at home working for issues she feels passionate about, such as education, human trafficking, and refugee resettlement. Christine earned her B.A. from Seattle Pacific University.
Day Center Assistant
Zenashe Ewnetu is our Day Center Assitant. Originally from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Zenashe immigrated to the United States five years ago. She started at EGH as a volunteer through our partnership with the YWCA Works program in May of 2017 and continues to provide a high level of personalized assisted for women utilizing our Hygiene Program.
Marie Norton-Olsen oversees all aspects of facilities maintenance for our transitional housing program.
Day Center Coordinator
Helene McOwen, our Day Center Coordinator, graduated from North Arizona University with a B.S. in Public Health. Ms. McOwen is responsible for keeping the Day Center running smoothly and preparing a hot nutritious breakfast and lunch for EGH clients.
Michele Martin has a B.S. from State University of New York at Albany. She has held positions in customer service, banking, bookkeeping, marketing, and data processing. Ms. Martin is uniquely qualified to understand the needs of our clients as she was homeless and a past client of Elizabeth Gregory Home Day Center herself.
Elizabeth Stevenson is the Development Manager. She has been charged with increasing visibility and revenue for Elizabeth Gregory Home through communications and fundraising efforts. Elizabeth comes to EGH with over 20 years of experience in communications and development; over 17 years working with homeless service providers. She has a B.A. from Willamette University and is a Weinberg Fellow.
Ms. Barrett, with Rising Sun Accounting, provides bookkeeping services on a contractual basis.
