We’re in Need of Donated Items!

 

Our Day Shelter depends on donated items to meet our guests’ essential needs. From shampoo to shoes, you can donate many items to EGH to help women experiencing homelessness.

You can order much-needed items online and have them shipped directly to the Elizabeth Gregory Home Day Shelter. Check out our Amazon Wishlist HERE.

 

We welcome donations of the items below.

You may drop off donations at the EGH Day Shelter Sunday through Friday, 9 am – 4 pm.

Current Urgent Needs

  • Body Wash: full-sized
  • Coffee: whole beans or ground
  • Conditioner: full-sized
  • Disposable Razors
  • Flour
  • Paper Towels
  • Shampoo: full-sized

  • Tissues: especially “family-size” boxes

We are unable to take donations of men’s or children’s clothing, household items, electronics, furnishings, etc., unless specifically requested on our wish list. We will share women’s clothing donations that exceed our needs and storage capacity with other community nonprofits.

Donate Prepared Food
Occasionally, community members are interested in donating prepared food and meals to EGH. We accept prepared food within the guidelines listed HERE.

Donate Gift Cards to Target
At times, our clients are in immediate need of an item that EGH does not have on hand. Whether the need is an umbrella or another item, a $10 gift card to Target (in close proximity to EGH) can save the day!

We welcome donations of Target gift cards in denominations not exceeding $10.00.

Non-Prescription Health Items
We will accept non-prescription health products that are unopened and before their expiration date.
