13th Annual Spring Dinner

Thanks to everyone who helped to make this year’s annual fundraising dinner such a huge success. Our goal of raising $200,000 was exceeded! We expanded into our new venue at the University of Washington’s Husky Union Building (HUB) and celebrated the growth and accomplishments of the past year. It was also a wonderful opportunity to catch up with new and past supporters alike.

We also heard stories from three strong women who are working to overcome homelessness. Carolyn, Helen, and Dylan shared what it’s like to be homeless and how EGH has helped them turn their lives around. Dylan, who participates in Elizabeth Gregory Home’s Transitional Housing Program, went back to school, recently passed the Emergency Medical Technician examination, and is now a certified EMT. Carolyn and Helen continue to navigate the shelter system in Seattle while accessing EGH support in order to meet their basic needs as well as secure permanent housing.
