When people ask EGH how they can help, there are many answers: You can volunteer. Donate money. Bring your friends to events. Get your workplace engaged through donation drives or philanthropy. Provide governance as a member of the Board of Directors. . . Many people help through one or two of these avenues – but one supporter has done it all.
Roger Morris began supporting Elizabeth Gregory Home over 13 years ago. Since then, he’s not only given financially, he’s volunteered his time: from chairing a large fundraising event, to painting, to helping procure artwork for our Day Center space. As a Windermere realtor, he’s headed up workplace coat drives, provided event sponsorship, and helped obtain corporate foundation grants. Roger’s commitment to Elizabeth Gregory Home was recently recognized when he received the “Good Neighbor Award” from the Seattle King County Realtors Association (read more in this article). As a member of the Board of Directors over the past six years, Roger has helped lead Elizabeth Gregory Home through a remodel and leadership transition.
We are grateful to Roger for sharing his time, talent, and treasure with us!
