Thank You for Helping Homeless
Women Reach Their Goals!
Thanks to everyone who helped to make this year’s annual fundraising dinner such a huge success. We enjoyed catching up with friends, honoring this year’s award recipient Bravo Roofing, Inc., celebrating the growth and accomplishments of the past year, and listening to the stories of two resilient women who are working to overcome homelessness.
Angie (left) and Bobbi (right) shared their stories of how they became homeless and how EGH has helped them turn their lives around. Angie participates in EGH’s Transitional Housing Program and is working towards acquiring a Payroll Professional certification. Bobbi dreams of becoming a writer and will soon be moving into the Transitional Housing Program.
More than 335 supporters gathered for Elizabeth Gregory Home’s 12th Annual Dinner on March 18, 2018. It was a powerfully moving evening that featured two EGH clients, Angie and Bobbi who shared their stories. Each described their journey of becoming homeless, and how life has changed as a result of the supportive services they received through EGH. The event raised over $180,000 allowing Elizabeth Gregory Home to continue to provide a safe and compassionate refuge from the streets to even more vulnerable women over the next year. We are so grateful for the remarkable support from our generous community of individuals and business sponsors!
